About The Database

The database was established and is maintained by civilian volunteers, with the aim of ensuring reliable, verified, and fact-based documentation. It is a source of information that serves as a foundation for commemoration, research, learning, and advocacy. We invite the public to use the information and help us improve it.

What does the database include?

Comprehensive and Multi-Front Coverage

Comprehensive information and mapping of all those fallen, murdered, and taken hostage since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023. The information includes the victims' names, the location of the incident (murder, falling in battle, or captivity), the date it occurred, and information regarding the location and date of death. The site includes additional details such as place of residence and an official memorial site, if available.

Frequent and Ongoing Updates

The data is continuously maintained and updated through a source-cross-referencing process designed to create a single, accurate, and reliable factual picture.

Found a mistake? Have information to add? By its very nature, a documentation project of this scale may contain inaccuracies. We work continuously to bridge information gaps and invite the public to contribute verified information. For inquiries and updates: info@oct7database.com
